Danny Houseright's commitment to emergency services spans more than 35 years, beginning as a volunteer with the Morristown Rescue Squad — an organization he continues to serve today as Sergeant. His dedication to the community has never wavered, and that foundation of service has shaped his approach to leading one of the region's most respected EMS agencies. Houseright has led Morristown-Hamblen EMS for nearly 20 years, guiding the service with a steady focus on delivering high-quality emergency medical care to the citizens of Hamblen County in the most fiscally responsible manner possible. Under his leadership, MHEMS has remained a reliable, well-managed agency committed to both clinical excellence and sound stewardship of resources. A licensed Paramedic, Houseright has been recognized by the Tennessee Ambulance Services Association with the Administrator of the Year award — a testament to his peers' respect for his leadership and dedication to the profession.

Claude D. Thompson Jr. began his career in emergency medical services at the age of 13 through the Rescue Squad Explorer Program, a foundation that would shape a 25-year career in Emergency Medicine. Today, he serves as Deputy Director of Morristown-Hamblen EMS, a role he was promoted to in 2026. Thompson holds dual credentials as a Registered Nurse and Critical Care Paramedic, and is a Tennessee Licensed EMT/Paramedic Instructor. In addition to his administrative duties, he serves as Program Director for Morristown-Hamblen EMS's in-house EMT Basic and Advanced programs, overseeing the development of the next generation of emergency medical professionals in Hamblen County. He also serves as Chief of the Medical Examiner's Office for Hamblen County, reflecting the breadth of his expertise and commitment to public service beyond emergency response. Thompson is dedicated to the men and women of Morristown-Hamblen EMS who report each day to deliver vital, life-saving care to the community they proudly serve.

Meghan Sallah serves as Training & Operations Coordinator for Morristown-Hamblen EMS, a role that places her at the intersection of clinical education and day-to-day operational management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Management and brings five years of experience as a licensed Paramedic to her work. In her role, Sallah oversees scheduling and staffing operations while also serving as Lead Instructor for the MHEMS in-house EMT program. Her dual focus on operations and education reflects a commitment to both the efficiency of the service and the professional development of its personnel.
